Embedding Video
I’m so excited! I love technology! I just got my Flip Video and capturing
short video clips is now going to be a snap. One of the easiest methods
of raising your visibility on your blog and website is to add video regularly.
My blog is not even a year old and it’s already in the top 1 ½%
of all websites in the world because of the video and audio files that
I keep adding to the site.
Again I was listening to a teleseminar that was supposed to be an hour
long and 110 minutes into it, they mentioned how they embed video in their
websites by loading the video to YouTube or MySpace. Once it’s there and
you watch the video, the “embed video code” on your website message appears
under the video. Copy the code and open the webpage in WordPad that you
want to have the video on. Paste the video code there and that’s all there
is to it.
The big bonus about doing the video that way is that when they click
on the video to watch it, they won’t leave you website or wait for it to
load for three minutes. And just as good, you’re not wasting your storage
space on huge video files.
If you use Firefox, there is a free File Transfer program called FireFTP.
They make it very easy to transfer your web pages to the Internet easily.

Facebook Joint Ventures
I know I talk about Social Media often, but I have had so much fun getting
to know people from all over the world because of the resources we have
available to us. When I released Create Your Own Reality in June I placed
a sentence at the top of my Profile page requesting help with the launch
of my book. Within a month I had so many offers of help that I could hardly
keep up with them.
Other than the 12 radio interviews from all over the world, Spain, England,
Canada and all around the US. I have been interviewed on Teleseminars,
too. I am also creating a couple of new Joint Ventures for speaking. One
is in Australia! And one of the most lucrative resources in Joint Ventures
will be how well you create your relationships with those who have large
databases.
There are so many people who share your interests and will gladly promote
your book, interview you and encourage their database to support you as
well. It’s just one more way you can get a lot more traction without having
to work so hard.

Twitter Following Etiquette
I was reminded by a Twitter expert that there is an unwritten rule of
etiquette in social media, but especially on Twitter. It’s about building
relationships, not selling your wares. In fact, you’ll get shunned if you
try to start out by selling.
When I was asked to be getting on Twitter, of course my first reaction,
was, not another social media distraction! In January I was following 22
people and had 5 followers. Then a friend of mine explained that Twitter
is like have an automatic email system to let everyone you know and who
is following you know what you’re up to.
Are you doing a teleseminar, radio interview or speaking engagement?
Did your article just get placed on a new ezine? Twitter it! With one 140
character message, you can keep everyone informed.
You can follow the people you admire, you can suggest that others follow
you. You can keep up with the latest greatest information. I have learned
so much about Internet marketing Twitter add-ons and who I have a lot in
common with.
